Job Description

Coding/Abacus Tutor (Part-Time)Best Brains Learning Center - Gilbert Rd, Chandler, AZ Best Brains Learning Center is a nationally recognized after-school enrichment program offering Math, English, Abacus, and Coding programs for students ages 3-14 . We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Coding/Abacus Tutor to join our team at our Chandler center. Position Overview This is a part-time, in-person teaching position working with elementary and middle school students in a structured classroom environment. The primary responsibility is teaching Scratch, Python, and Web Development to students ages 7-14 . Training on the Best Brains Abacus curriculum will be provided.

Schedule Tuesday & Thursday:

4:30 PM - 7:40

PM Saturday:

9:30 AM - 12:40 PM Approximately 9-10 hours per week Responsibilities Teach Coding (Scratch, Python, and Web Development) using the Best Brains curriculum. Teach Abacus classes (training provided). Create a positive, engaging, and interactive classroom environment. Monitor student progress and provide feedback to the Center Director. Encourage student participation, confidence, and critical thinking. Communicate professionally with parents regarding student progress when needed. Support other classroom activities as assigned. Qualifications Experience teaching, tutoring, or working with children preferred. Experience with Scratch, Python, or Web Development preferred. Abacus experience is a plus but not required (training provided). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Reliable, punctual, and professional.
