Responsibilities:
Provide 1:1 individualized tutoring sessions focused on enhancing students' reading and literacy skills Follow scripted lesson plans tailored to each student's needs, covering phonics, spelling, fluency, comprehension, and writing Use PRIDE's learning technologies and resources to enhance instruction Manage session time effectively, ensuring a positive and focused learning environment Adapt teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs, including those with special education requirements Must be proactive in maintaining prompt and consistent communication with PRIDE staff to discuss student progress, challenges, and any necessary adjustments to the tutoring plan
Qualifications:
Experience as an instructional assistant, ABA therapist, paraprofessional, teacher, substitute teacher, graduate student in education, or speech therapist assistant is a plus Must have access to an electronic device (such as a laptop) for conducting lessons How to
