Our offerings include recurring Montessori pods for children ages 3-6, as well as separate enrichment classes such as math, phonics, arts and more. About the Role We are seeking a dedicated and experienced teacher to lead private tutoring sessions and semi private (up to 6-8 students) classes in Math, Phonics, science, and other Montessori modalities. As a Lead Teacher, you will create and maintain a calm, engaging, and developmentally appropriate environment where each child is seen, respected, and supported as an individual. You will thoughtfully observe students, adapt your approach to meet their needs, and guide them through meaningful, work. You will lead private Montessori math and phonics offerings using the Love every reading and phonics Montessori inspired kits and other Montessori resources as you see fit for children 3-9 and older. This is a part-time position that can become a full-time position for the right candidate who is excited to grow with the company and contribute to future expansion and franchising. Key Responsibilities Lead and private and semi private classes for ages 3 - 13 Prepare and maintain a thoughtfully organized, engaging classroom environment Observe each child closely and tailor guidance to meet their individual developmental needs Come to each session prepared with a lesson plan catered to the specific student/students attending. Develop and document a codified work cycle outline/template for the program Uphold authentic Montessori principles in daily practice Foster a calm, respectful, and inclusive classroom culture Communicate effectively and professionally with parents Adapt teaching approaches based on observation and ongoing assessment Take initiative in improving classroom systems, flow, and overall student experience Create a summary of each session to share with parents. Qualifications Early Childhood education degree and/or education degree
BA Preferred:
