We are a positive and professional group of educators working together to provide quality private tutoring to students in the area. Overview We are seeking an enthusiastic, experienced, academic tutor with a teaching background (preferably special education experience) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for education and a desire to help students reach their full potential. Our program belief is "connection before curriculum" and we strive to build a team based on this concept of relationship-based teaching. We support students in all grade levels and areas of need in northern Colorado. Responsibilities

Educate students in various subjects and topics
Develop and implement personalized learning plans
Assist students with homework, assignments, and exam preparation
Utilize effective teaching strategies to engage students
Monitor student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
Communicate with families to share progress, determine scheduling, and build collaborative student plans
Follow outlined policies and procedures of NoCo Tutoring & Enrichment Skills
Experience working with children in education settings
Strong student connection skills
Knowledge of curriculum development principles
Familiarity with special education practices/Science of Reading approaches is a plus
Knowledge/experience with interventions for executive functioning skills highly desired
Background in education Qualifications
Required qualifications include experience in tutoring and/or classroom teaching
Preferred qualifications consist of classroom management skills and experience working with children.
Beneficial skills include knowledge of learning technology and special education/Science of Reading approaches.
Current or prior certification in education or related field required
