Summary We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a Reading Tutor at Stratford High School. This part-time position is ideal for someone who loves working with students and is committed to helping them improve their reading skills. The Reading Tutor will provide personalized instruction, support, and encouragement to students, fostering a positive learning environment that promotes literacy and a love for reading. Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized tutoring plans tailored to each student's needs.
• Provide one-on-one and small group instruction in reading comprehension, fluency, and vocabulary development.
• Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed.
• Foster a supportive and motivating environment to encourage students' confidence and enthusiasm for reading.
• Communicate regularly with teachers, parents, and school staff regarding student progress and any concerns.
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and assessments. Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Education preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with students of diverse backgrounds.
