We're currently hiring enthusiastic and knowledgeable High School Math Tutors to support students in Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Pre-Calculus, Calculus , and SAT Math . Whether you're a certified teacher, graduate student, or experienced tutor, we provide training in the Sylvan Method™ and all necessary materials—so you can walk in and teach with confidence.Key Responsibilities:
Deliver math instruction using Sylvan's proven curriculum in a 3:1 small group setting Engage and motivate students throughout their learning sessions Track and document student progress using Sylvan's assessment tools Maintain a safe, supportive, and encouraging learning environment Provide feedback to the Center Director on student performance and areas for growth Foster positive relationships with students to build confidence and academic motivationWhat We're Looking For:
Strong content knowledge in high school-level math (Algebra I & II, Geometry, Trigonometry, Pre-Calc, and/or Calculus) Previous experience working with students, either in a classroom or tutoring setting Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Passion for education and making a positive difference Availability during after-school hours and/or weekends Teaching certification (preferred but not required) Perks of Working atSylvan:
