In this role, you will inspire and support students across diverse backgrounds by providing engaging instruction in core subjects such as mathematics, English language arts, science, and test preparation. Your enthusiasm and instructional expertise will help foster a love for learning while promoting academic growth and confidence. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students' educational journeys during after-school hours. Duties Deliver engaging tutoring sessions in subjects including Math and English. We will provide all the curriculum. Utilize learning technology tools to enhance instruction and facilitate interactive learning experiences. Adapt teaching methods to accommodate diverse learners, including students with special education needs or different cultural backgrounds. Work with small groups between 2 and 5 students. Assess student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback to students and communicating with parents or guardians as needed. Support students in developing study skills, writing skills, and critical thinking abilities through tailored instructional strategies. Requirements Prior experience in tutoring or teaching. Familiarity with learning technology platforms and online instruction methods. Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect with students from diverse backgrounds. Demonstrated adaptability in instructional approaches to meet individual student needs. Experience working with children or adolescents in educational settings is highly preferred. Ability to manage classroom dynamics effectively while fostering a motivating learning environment. Passion for education and helping students succeed academically and personally.
