Job Description

GTE Academy is a Christ-centered private micro-school in Lakeland, FL, operating on the ACE School of Tomorrow curriculum and housed at First Baptist Institutional Church. We are looking for someone who understands that every student learns differently. Our tutor should be willing to meet students where they are academically while encouraging them to grow, stay motivated, and reach their potential.

What You'll Do:

Teach and coach students in small groups (no more than five students per teacher) Differentiate instruction across multiple grade levels within a small-school setting Partner with staff to help every student thrive

Requirements:

Valid teaching certificate and/or bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) Ability to adapt instruction across different grades and learners Heart for Christian education and mentoring young people Background screening required

Schedule & Pay:

Monday-Friday $15.00/hour We'd love to hear from you if you want to make a lasting difference in the lives of students.

Pay:

Up to $15.00 per hour Expected hours: No more than 10.0 per week
