Now Hiring:
Dedicated Teachers and Tutors for One-on-One Education (Special Needs)
Location:
Ocoee and Winter Garden area (in-home, therapy centers) Are you passionate about teaching? Do you believe in the power of one-on-one learning to transform lives? Pathway Homeschooling provides individualized, one-on-one education for children and teens with special needs . We serve students in a variety of settings: their homes, therapy centers, and our dedicated Pathway center.
What You'll Do:
Work one-on-one with children and adolescents, focusing on tailored educational support Support a maximum of 6 students per day (always individually) Teach in a compassionate, structured, and supportive environment Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team Receive all necessary training and ongoing support

Job Duties:
Provide one-on-one classes to students of various ages and skill levels Assess students' learning needs and develop personalized lesson plans Utilize learning technology and educational resources in the classroom Communicate with families and team members to provide progress updates and address concerns Adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and abilities Support students in developing foundational academic and functional skills Speak in Portuguese to support bilingual students (when applicable) Recognize and manage autism-related behavioral crises with training and sensitivity
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Education , Psychology , or a related field Minimum of 2 years of experience as a teacher or tutor for individuals with unique abilities (special needs, autism, etc.) Fluency in English ; Experience in lesson planning and curriculum adaptation Patience, empathy, and the ability to establish rapport with students of all ages Ability to work independently and adapt flexibly to each student's learning profile Strong organizational skills to track student progress and maintain accurate records Creative and proactive mindset — "Out-of-the-box" thinkers are encouraged!
Special Requirements:
Valid Florida Driver's License Reliable transportation (daily travel required) Valid teaching certificate (from the U.S. or other country) 4+ years of experience teaching or tutoring 2+ years of experience working with children with autism (required) Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or experience in Special Education is a strong plus Must pass a criminal background check , drug screening , and onboarding evaluation prior to hire Apply today to join a team where education is personal, powerful, and filled with purpose.
