  • Alpharetta, GA Eye Level Learning Center in Alpharetta, GA is looking for a passionate, responsible, and caring Part-Time ELA & English Tutor to join our team.
We are looking for someone who enjoys working with children and can help students develop strong skills in reading, grammar, vocabulary, comprehension, and writing. Qualifications Bachelor's degree or current college student majoring in English, Writing, Literature, Education, or a related field Strong English writing, grammar, and communication skills Experience working with elementary and middle school students preferred Previous tutoring or teaching experience is a plus Patient, positive, and encouraging attitude toward students Reliable, responsible, and professional Ability to explain concepts clearly and work with students at different academic levels Responsibilities Teach and support students in ELA, Reading, Grammar, and Writing Help students improve their writing and reading comprehension skills Provide individualized guidance based on each student's level Encourage students to become confident and independent learners Monitor student progress and communicate with the center when needed Preferred Candidates We are especially interested in candidates with an English, Writing, Literature, or Education background who have a passion for helping children become confident readers and writers. # Retired teachers and educators are warmly encouraged to apply!
