We're looking for a patient and engaging K-8 Tutor to support elementary and middle school students in core subjects, including Math and Reading/ELA . This is a great fit for someone who enjoys building strong academic foundations and making learning fun for younger students. What You'll Do Provide one-on-one or small-group tutoring to K-8 students in Math and Reading/ELA Help build foundational skills — phonics, reading comprehension, basic math facts, and problem-solving Assess each student's strengths and gaps, and tailor sessions accordingly Reinforce classroom concepts and support homework completion Track and communicate student progress to our client service team and/or parents Create a positive, encouraging, and age-appropriate learning environment What We're Looking For Strong command of K-8 Math and Reading/ELA fundamentals Previous tutoring, teaching, or childcare/mentoring experience preferred Patient, nurturing approach with younger students Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Bachelor's degree or currently pursuing one (preferred) Ability to travel to students' homes in the Johns Creek/Suwanee, GA area Background check required Why Tutor With Us Flexible scheduling that works around your availability Ongoing support from our client service team Make a real, measurable difference in a young student's academic confidence and love of learning
