Employee Assistance Program Job Duties:
Tutor nursing students in person or online using Microsoft Teams. Provide nursing students supplemental assistance in the area of need. For example, guide nursing students who are working in a group toward successful response to exam type questions, assist nursing students to critically evaluate a case study scenario and make sound clinical judgments - using tools and resources provided by nursing faculty. Utilize technology and online resources effectively to enhance the student experience. Collaborate with the Teaching and Learning Education Specialist and nursing faculty to ensure the needs of students are met. Communicate with the Teaching and Learning Education Specialist and nursing faculty to develop a schedule.
Minimum Qualifications:
Associate Degree in Nursing is required. Current, active, unencumbered licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Kentucky (Kentucky licensure or compact state licensure with multi-state privileges) required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing or higher is preferred.
Additional Skills Requested:
Strong MS Office Suites experience (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams) Strong problem-solving skills. Able to manage various issues and suggest new solutions to supervisor or others in handling unusual problems. Maintain the highest level of confidentiality.
