Responsibilities Deliver engaging in-person tutoring sessions in mathematics, statistics, physics, and related STEM disciplines. Develop customized lesson plans and curricula that align with individual student needs, learning goals, and curriculum standards. Utilize advanced learning technologies and digital tools to enhance the educational experience and facilitate interactive instruction. Assess student progress regularly through informal evaluations; adjust teaching strategies accordingly to maximize understanding. Collaborate with parents, teachers, or educational coordinators to track student development and recommend additional resources or support when necessary. Qualifications Minimum of two years' experience tutoring or teaching mathematics, statistics, or related STEM subjects at various educational levels. Strong knowledge of core mathematical concepts including algebra, geometry, trigonometry, calculus & differential equations. Proven ability to develop curriculum content that incorporates modern teaching methods and learning technology tools. Experience working with students of different ages—including children, teenagers, and adults—and adapting instructional approaches accordingly. Familiarity with classroom management techniques for both virtual and physical settings; excellent communication skills. Background knowledge in science disciplines such as Physics, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or computer science is a plus. Demonstrated ability to work independently while maintaining high standards for student engagement and achievement. Pay:
$40.00 - $50.00 per hour Expected hours: 6.0 - 12.0 per week
