About us Grade Potential is a leading provider of personalized, in-person tutoring services nationwide. With flexible in-person tutoring opportunities, subject variety, and a dedicated support team, we ensure tutors have the tools they need to thrive. About the student 3rd grade student The student needs to work with a tutor for support with ELA; specifically spelling and phonics. The student is a 3rd grader attending Parkside Elementary School. He has had a difficult time this past year in spelling & phonics. He tested at a 2nd grade level in Spelling at the end of the year. The goal is for the student to catch back up to his grade level in spelling & phonics. The family wants 1 hour sessions once a week between 3pm-8pm on either Friday or Saturday. If possible they would prefer Friday. The family is seeking a tutor who can meet at their home in Buffalo next to Lions Park and the Buffalo Softball Fields. Qualifications Ideal candidates have prior experience working with elementary students. Ideal candidates will have prior experience teaching/tutoring ELA. Ideal candidates will have a teaching certification. Willing to travel within your preferred local radius to meet the student (typically 5-10 miles) Due to insurance requirements, applicants must not be a minor. Student Availability
