We are currently seeking candidates who are interested in working with children grades K-12, and especially those specialized in advanced math. Awareness in neurodivergent students and particular strategies to help them succeed also desired.
Responsibilities:
Design curriculum suited to your individual students' needs, with ability to flex and adapt as those needs evolve Assist students with homework, study skills, and improving abilities in their weakest subjects Keep accurate records of schedule and sessions using a simple computer system Communicate with parents on students' progress
Qualifications:
High school diploma required, higher education preferred Must have a positive attitude and strong work ethic Must be willing to commit to an ongoing relationship as an academic coach. Must have strong communication skills and be reliable Must be able to maintain a professional image Must have ability to work independently and keep accurate records Ability to drive to students either in their home or a public location such as a library for sessions Experience teaching or tutoring required Experience with neurodivergent or special education students preferred
