Job Description
Part-Time Math Tutor - Upper Elementary & Middle School The Study Station is looking for an experienced educator to provide one-on-one math tutoring for upper elementary and middle school students at our Kernersville location. We are looking for someone who is confident teaching upper elementary and middle school math, enjoys working one-on-one with students, and can help identify skill gaps, strengthen foundational skills, support current classroom material, and build students' confidence in math. Schedule Our tutoring hours are Monday-Friday from 3:00-8:00 PM, but you do not have to work every day or the entire 3:00-8:00 window. The schedule is buildable around your availability. You tell us which days and hours you are available to work, and we build your student schedule within those times. Once your schedule is established, however, it becomes a consistent weekly commitment. Students reserve the same day and time each week, so this is not a schedule that changes from week to week. We are looking for tutors who can commit to their selected availability on an ongoing basis throughout the school year. We also do not follow the public school calendar for teacher workdays, school holidays, or other days students may be out of school. Our tutoring center remains open on many of those days, so tutors are expected to maintain their regular schedules unless the center is closed. If you are a licensed teacher/educator who enjoys teaching math and are looking for a flexible after-school position where you can choose the days and hours that work for you while maintaining a consistent weekly schedule, we would love to hear from you!
