Sylvan Learning Center of Southern Pines, NC is seeking an afterschool, part-time tutor to work with students from Pre-K through 12th grade. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree, a current, expired, or in-progress Teaching License (from any state), and is available part time 3:30-6:30 Monday-Thursday and/or Saturday mornings 10am-1pm. The hours are flexible (you can choose to work from 5-15 hours a week depending on your schedule) and the part-time pay is competitive ($18-$20hr). Responsibilities Deliver engaging and effective tutoring sessions tailored to individual student needs across multiple subjects and age groups. Utilize learning technology tools to enhance lesson delivery and student engagement. Deliver lessons that align with curriculum standards and educational objectives. Qualifications Proven experience in tutoring, teaching, or classroom management. Familiarity with learning technology platforms and digital educational tools. Experience working with children, including preschool or early childhood education settings, through middle, high school and college-aged. Excellent communication skills to effectively engage students.
