Job Description
Adjunct Faculty - Nursing Tutor 1464 Manchester, NH, United States Description The Adjunct Nursing Mentor/Tutor provides academic support to undergraduate students within the School of Nursing under the direction of the nursing faculty of the Worcester campus, and tutors students on an as-needed basis. Tutoring appointments will be coordinated between both the student and the tutor to best accommodate schedules. Estimated work hours will be six to ten hours per week. Work collaboratively with course faculty to share information regarding individual student success Serve as a role model and motivate students to perform well in Nursing courses and disciplines Attend any required tutor trainings or meetings Complete tutoring reports Monitor students' progress and communicate with course faculty regarding student progress or concerns With support of the clinical agency may allow students to shadow them during their clinical work Additional responsibilities may be assigned by the supervisor
