Specialized Reading Tutor Literacy Learning Solutions, LLC Merrimack, NH Job Details Part-time | Full-time $35 - $40 an hour 19 hours ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance 401(k) Professional development assistance Flexible schedule Qualifications Teaching Certification Tutoring Working with students Literacy education Special Education Full Job Description Literacy Learning Solutions, LLC is a practice in Nashua, NH providing specialized reading and writing instruction to children with dyslexia and related language-based learning disabilities. Our practice is seeking tutors to provide specialized, multisensory reading instruction using the Orton-Gillingham approach or Wilson Reading Systems. Hours can be full or part-time and flexible Monday through Friday during the school day. Services would be conducted within a local school building. Responsibilities Provide specialized reading instruction to students based on their individual needs and learning styles. Develop and implement customized lessons to enhance students' reading skills. Administer informal reading assessments and document student progress with adherence to all reporting deadlines. Provide clear communication to parents, on-site colleagues and supervisors.
Qualifications:
Must have a current New Hampshire teaching certification. Experience in teaching and working with diverse student profiles. Background in special education and literacy education. Knowledge of the Science of Reading and Structured Literacy practices. Certification, training, and/or experience with Orton-Gillingham approach preferred but not required.
