Job Description
After-school learning center is seeking an English tutor to fill an immediate opening to teach middle-school and/or high-school level students. Great opportunity to work alongside other teaching professionals in a dynamic learning environment. This is a part-time teaching position with flexible hours and competitive pay.
Our ideal candidate will:
- Possess strong communication skills
- Have a passion for teaching and enjoy working with children
- Have the ability to encourage and motivate students to appreciate reading and writing
- Have previous/current experience teaching middle-school/high-school students Responsibilities include:
- Teaching private, semi-private, and/or small group classes
- Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies as needed to ensure understanding Please submit resume for consideration
