Position Information Requisition Number Stu808P Position Type Student Worker Department Department of Student Workers Job Title Student Worker - Tutor - Chemistry Academic Year 2026-2027 Classification Student Worker Pay Rate $10.00 per hour Position Summary Information Hours per week Up to 20 hours per week. Days Worked Flexible Hours/Shift worked Flexible Posting Detail Information Job Summary/Basic Function Attend Tutoring / Peer Learning hours and assist students as needed. Required Qualifications Must be a current Chemistry Major in good academic standing during the time of employment. Must have approval from Chemistry Tutoring Supervisor (currently Dr. Rajaseelan). Students tutoring must have received a B+ or higher in the course(s) tutoring. Must be referred by the faculty in the department Must complete 3 required clearances (PA Criminal Background, Child Abuse History, and FBI Fingerprints) Preferred Qualifications Job Duties Attend Tutoring/Peer Learning hours and assist students as needed.
