Job Description
Front Desk Staff:
Tutoring Services- Federal Work Study Glendale Community College
- 4.
Academic Year:
Monday- Friday, 8am
- 5pm Maricopa Summary 10 Colleges.
- Provides customer service at the front desk; welcomes and greets all visitors; offers a warm handoff for support service/staff; assists students and the general public by answering questions, providing schedule information, and directions to other areas on campus 20%
- Log all student visits (e.g., drop-in tutoring, studying, appointment, computer lab, etc.) in-person or online using TracCloud; monitor the online tutoring platform (i.e., Discord) to triage students, assign to appropriate tutors; regularly monitor the space to ensure students are logged in and out accurately 20%
- Performs reception duties; receives and refers calls and emails; takes and relays messages; helps maintain the cleanliness of the center; adheres to
FERPA 20
%- Monitor the space and enforce appropriate usage (e.g., no full meals, no open lid drinks, etc.) and escalate any issues to the supervisor/director; adheres to applicable policies and procedures 10%
- Performs other duties as assigned including participation in projects that support departmental/college initiatives and goals.
