Position:

Independent Contractor What You'll Do Provide personalized 1:1 tutoring in IB English HL Strengthen literary analysis, critical thinking, and academic writing Help the student develop stronger thesis statements, arguments, and textual analysis Provide guidance on IB assessments, essays, and exam preparation Teach strategies for Paper 1 and Paper 2 Review written work and provide actionable feedback Identify skill gaps and develop targeted lessons to improve performance Communicate student progress and areas of concern to Tutor Solutions Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree completed or currently in progress Strong background in English, Literature, Writing, Education, or a related field Direct experience with

IB English A:

Literature or IB English A:

Language & Literature at Higher Level strongly preferred Previous tutoring or teaching experience Strong understanding of IB assessment criteria and exam expectations Excellent written and verbal communication skills Reliable internet connection and ability to tutor virtually as well as in person

Highly Preferred:

Former IB students who earned a 6 or 7 in IB English HL, current/former IB teachers, IB examiners, or tutors with demonstrated success helping IB students improve their scores.
