Position Overview We're looking for an enthusiastic, dependable Reading & Math Tutor to join our team on a contract basis . This part-time, remote position is ideal for an educator passionate about helping elementary students master foundational math concepts in an encouraging, supportive environment. Tutors will teach pre-planned group lessons and slides (which may be lightly adapted for engagement) and also provide 1:1 private math tutoring for homework help or additional practice on class topics. All sessions are delivered online. Key Responsibilities Teach small-group remedial math classes using Accomplished Kids' ready-to-use lessons and slides. Provide private 1:1 math tutoring for students needing extra support or personalized instruction. Support learners in multiplication, division, fractions, word problems, place value, and overall math fluency . In addition to phonics based reading tutoring. Maintain a positive, patient, and encouraging teaching style to help struggling learners gain confidence. Record brief session notes and track student progress using Accomplished Kids' system. Communicate professionally with families and staff as needed. Qualifications Bachelor's degree (required) — Education, Math, or related field preferred. 3+ years of teaching or tutoring experience with elementary math learners . Comfortable teaching online using Zoom or similar platforms. Strong understanding of foundational math concepts (grades 3-5 focus). Excellent communication, reliability, and organization skills. Passion for helping struggling learners succeed. Willingness to occasionally represent Accomplished Kids in community settings. What We Provide Pre-made lesson plans, slides, and materials (minimal prep required). Ongoing support, training, and coaching from our leadership team.
