Part-Time Roblox Studio Tutor/Mentor for a 13-
Year-Old Location:
Seattle, WA Schedule:
1-2 hours per week
Pay:
$35-$50 per hour, depending on experience We are looking for a friendly and knowledgeable Roblox Studio tutor to work one-on-one with our 13-year-old son for approximately 1-2 hours per week. He is excited to learn how to make his own Roblox games, including Luau scripting, building, UI/GUI design, 3D modeling, animation, visual effects, audio, and game design. We are looking for someone who can help him build these skills through fun, hands-on projects. This could be a great position for a college student studying computer science, game development, animation, digital art, or a related subject. Formal teaching experience is not required. We care most about finding someone who knows Roblox Studio, communicates well, is dependable, and enjoys helping young people learn. What You'll Do Meet with him for 1-2 hours each week Teach Luau scripting and how to use Roblox Studio Help him develop his own game ideas and turn them into working projects Introduce skills such as building, UI/GUI design, 3D modeling, animation, VFX, audio, and game design Help him troubleshoot and understand why something is or is not working Encourage him to experiment, solve problems, and complete the work himself Adjust lessons to match his interests and skill level What We're Looking For Experience using Roblox Studio and Luau Examples of Roblox games, projects, scripts, builds, or other work you have created Patient, encouraging, and comfortable working with a 13-year-old Able to explain technical ideas in a clear and approachable way Dependable and available for a consistent weekly meeting College students and recent graduates are encouraged to apply Experience in every area listed above is not required.
