About u PALS Learning Center in locations North Edison, South Plainfield in NewJersey is looking for bright and energetic English Test Prep Instructor with a gift for teaching to help motivated and ambitious high school students succeed in the school and SAT tests. QUALIFICATIONS
Requirements for employment: Bachelor's degree For Verbal - Strong background in
SAT / ACT
level Verbal (Reading, Writing and Grammar) Prior teaching/tutoring experience in Test Prep is must (Minimum 8 years of exp). Must be very strong in essay writing Should be able to work with college essays for the high school students Ideal candidates for the position will display: In-depth knowledge of subject matter A dynamic and engaging teaching style Effective communication skills An enthusiasm for learning Patience, sincerity, and compassion When completing the online application, please indicate the subject or subjects that you are interested in and qualified to teach. RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist high school students in the mastery of Verbal (SAT Reading
• Writing) skills Teach lessons according to curriculum Instruct multiple students in a classroom setting Monitor and record student progress
