Job Description
Overview Are you passionate about helping students succeed on standardized tests? Huntington Learning Center of Bluffton is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic SAT/ACT Reading/Writing Tutor to join our growing team. As a tutor, you will work 1-on-1 or in small groups to guide high school students through the Reading and Writing sections of the SAT and/or ACT, focusing on strategies, content mastery, and confidence building. Duties
- Deliver engaging and effective instruction in SAT and ACT Reading/Writing sections
- Customize sessions based on each student's goals, learning style, and diagnostic performance
- Assign and review homework, practice tests, and drills
- Track student progress and provide regular feedback to students and supervisor
- Stay current on exam changes and test-taking strategies Qualifications
- Strong standardized test scores (Must be willing to take SAT Reading/Writing section at Huntington)
- Bachelor's degree required (Education, English or related field preferred)
- Prior experience tutoring or teaching high school students
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Patient, reliable and passionate about education
