German-Speaking Tutor

We are seeking a native German speaker to work with our two young children (ages 4 and 5) through daily interaction and structured learning. The goal is natural language acquisition through immersion, not traditional classroom-style instruction. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with young children and understands how to teach language through conversation, play, and routine activities.

Responsibilities:

Speak exclusively in German with the children during scheduled hours Engage in play-based learning (games, reading, outdoor activities, etc.) Introduce age-appropriate vocabulary and reinforce language naturally Maintain a consistent and structured routine Provide a positive, patient, and engaging environment

Qualifications:

Native or fluent German speaker (required) Experience with young children (teaching, childcare, or similar) Patient, reliable, and energetic Strong communication skills Prior tutoring or au pair experience is a plus

Schedule:

Flexible (part-time or full-time options available) Consistent weekly schedule preferred

Additional Details:

This is an immersion-focused role. You will be expected to speak German at all times with the children. Long-term candidates preferred
