Overview Join our dynamic team as a Part-time STEM Tutor specializing in AP Chemistry, Physics, and Math! This exciting role offers the opportunity to inspire and empower students by providing engaging, personalized instruction in advanced science and mathematics topics. As a key contributor, you will help students excel in their coursework, prepare for exams, and develop a deep understanding of complex concepts . You will provide personalized instruction to students one-on-one and in small groups. We are especially interested in candidates who can tutor several of the following subjects: Algebra I & II, Geometry, Trigonometry, Calculus, Statistics, Biology, Chemistry, Physics What You'll Do Deliver engaging, student-centered tutoring sessions Help students with homework, test preparation, and study strategies Explain difficult concepts in clear, approachable ways Adapt instruction to each student's learning style and academic needs Motivate students and help them develop confidence and independence Monitor progress and identify opportunities for improvement Maintain accurate session notes, progress records, and feedback Participate in team meetings and Tutoring Club events What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Education, subject-specific field, or currently enrolled in a degree program leading to a bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university. (Required) Strong subject matter knowledge in relevant areas, such as Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra 2, Pre-Calculus, Statistics, Chemistry, Physics, and/or Calculus. Clear, patient, and effective communication skills Ability to connect with students and make challenging material engaging Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Creativity and flexibility in adapting instruction to individual learners Previous tutoring or teaching experience preferred Passion for teaching STEM subjects and inspiring students to pursue careers in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.
