Position Information Position Title Tutor - Nursing (Davis Tutoring & Writing Center) Requisition Number H01864P Position Category Campus Location Weber State Davis - Layton, UT Hours per week Negotiable up to 20 hours Months per year Alternate work schedule Pay Grade Salary Hourly Pay Rate $14.50 FLSA Job Summary/Basic Function Tutor WSU Nursing students at the Davis Tutoring Center as part of the Learning Support department. Tutoring is done by individual appointments made through Starfish. Availability for appointments will be determined by the tutor. We require and provide training in tutoring techniques. Required Qualifications Must be a WSU student. Must be able to tutor on the Davis Campus. Must have earned a B or better in the courses you propose to tutor. A strong working knowledge of the subject matter you will be tutoring. Good listening, communication, and interpersonal skills. Preferred Qualifications Background Check?
