Position Information Position Title Computer Science Tutor (Davis Learning Center) Requisition Number H02069P Position Category Campus Location Weber State University - Ogden, UT Hours per week 20 Months per year Alternate work schedule Pay Grade Salary Hourly Pay Rate $12.50 FLSA Job Summary/Basic Function TutorWSUstudents in Computer Science at the Davis Learning Center as part of the Learning Support department. Tutoring is done on a drop-in basis. Availability for drop-in shifts is determined by the tutor. We require and provide training in tutoring techniques.
•This is a pooled position. Applicants are selected from the pool as positions become available. After a period of time the pool will expire and applicants will be notified. Required Qualifications Must be a WSU student Must be able to tutor at the Davis campus Must have earned a B or better in the courses you propose to tutor. A strong working knowledge of the subject matter you will be tutoring. Good listening, communication, and interpersonal skills. Preferred Qualifications Ability to tutor many different courses Background Check?
