Job Description

We are seeking an exceptional full-time private educator to provide a personalized educational experience for our two homeschooled children—an 8-year-old boy and a 6-year-old girl. The primary focus of the role will be our 8-year-old, while also supporting and teaching our 6-year-old through individualized lessons and shared learning experiences when appropriate. This is a unique opportunity to work with a family that values education, curiosity, character, outdoor adventure, and hands-on learning. We are looking for someone who is excited to tailor instruction to each child's individual strengths, interests, and learning style. Responsibilities Plan and deliver an individualized curriculum in core academic subjects for our 8-year-old. Provide age-appropriate instruction and enrichment for our 6-year-old. Foster strong reading, writing, mathematics, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Incorporate project-based learning, science experiments, literature, history, art, and real-world experiences. Help cultivate organization, executive functioning, confidence, and independent learning habits. Collaborate with parents to establish educational goals and monitor progress. Coordinate educational outings, field trips, and experiential learning opportunities. Maintain lesson plans, portfolios, and progress records. Ideal Candidate Bachelor's degree required. Current or former elementary teacher, private school teacher, homeschool educator, learning specialist, or experienced private educator. Experience teaching elementary-aged children. Warm, engaging, organized, and highly professional. Passionate about creating an individualized learning experience rather than teaching to standardized tests. Comfortable working closely with an involved family while maintaining professionalism. Flexible, adaptable, and excited to travel with the family as needed. Schedule Full-time, year-round position. Flexibility is important, as our family travels throughout the year and we are looking for an educator who can adapt the educational schedule to support learning both at home and while traveling. Compensation Highly competitive salary, commensurate with experience. Paid time off. Health benefits (if applicable). Relocation assistance available for the right candidate. Additional benefits and professional development opportunities. Location Park City, Utah.
