Job Responsibilities Actively encourage, motivate, and engage with students during the instructional session Work collaboratively with team members to deliver individualized instruction in a group setting Correct student work and provide positive, constructive feedback Manage student behavior to create a positive environment that optimizes learning Maintain a growth mindset toward student learning and teaching practice. Assist in non-teaching tasks, which may include cleaning, administrative assistance, or other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Passion for math and working with students Excellent interpersonal skills Eagerness to learn and be trained Ability to balance various ongoing tasks All applicants will be required to provide work authorization and pass a background check. Additional Info Instructors are paid from $13-$15 depending on experience, education, and math skills. There are opportunities for advancement into other positions- e.g., Lead Instructor. Mathnasium locations are independently owned and operated by franchisees of Mathnasium Center Licensing, LLC (\"Mathnasium\"). Franchisees are independent business people and not employed by Mathnasium. Thus, each franchisee and each franchisee center is unique and the franchisee is alone responsible for all employment matters in their center. If you are hired to work at a center, the franchisee will be your employer, not Mathnasium.
