Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic General Studies Tutor to provide specialized academic support for students aged 1016 in a homeschooling environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Science or English and can bridge the gap between complex concepts and real-world application, fostering a deep love for learning through logic and scientific inquiry.
Deliver individualized lessons in Natural Sciences or Language Arts (depending on your preference and experience), helping students understand the world through observation and scientific theory.
Help students develop essential study habits, including time management, note-taking, and organizational strategies tailored to their unique learning styles.
Maintain a transparent feedback loop with parents regarding academic milestones, areas for improvement, and long-term homeschooling goals.
Create a positive, high-energy learning environment that builds student confidence and encourages curiosity.
Previous experience tutoring, classroom teaching, or academic mentoring, specifically with the 1016 age demographic.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; ability to explain complex scientific concepts in an accessible way.
Must be dependable, patient, highly organized, and able to work independently in a home-based setting.
Key Responsibilities:

Qualifications:
Strong proficiency in Sciences or Language Arts. A degree in a related field is highly preferred.Previous experience tutoring, classroom teaching, or academic mentoring, specifically with the 1016 age demographic.
