- is very engaging and energetic while instructing students;
- Utilizes and customizes our curriculum to improve student outcomes;
- Communicates effectively with students and parents and is responsive to them
- Diligently works to create a positive, safe learning environment as you work one-on-one with students;
- Has fun while helping students achieve their goals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree (or close to receiving one)
- Strong academic background
- Serious Reliability and Commitment
- Reading tutor must have experience teaching/tutoring reading
- Math tutor must be able to teach all levels of math a student can take in high school
- ACT Tutor must have confidence tutoring ALL sections of the ACT, including both verbal and math sections (Math sections include Algebra I, Algebra II, Geometry, and some Trigonometry)
- All tutors must be willing and able to travel to South Jordan and surrounding towns to meet with students at local libraries. Why Tutor With Us?

Dedicated Support:
You will have a mentor who is there to support you each step of the way.Typical Hours:
General tutoring hours are outside of school hours and on weekends. Your availability should include 6 or more hours per week and should be primarily in the following time blocks: School year hours:Monday-Friday:
3pm-8pm &Saturday:
10am-4pm Summer hours:Monday-Saturday:
