Huntington Learning Center of Puyallup is looking for enthusiastic part-time tutors to work with middle and high school students in Math, Science, and college entrance test preparation. No lesson plans to create. No homework to grade. Huntington provides the curriculum, instructional materials, and training so you can focus on what matters most—teaching students and helping them succeed. We Are Especially Looking For Tutors In Algebra I & II Geometry Precalculus Calculus Biology Chemistry Physics SAT/ACT Math & Science You do not need to teach every subject. We provide training. Qualifications Bachelor's degree required Strong knowledge in one or more Math or Science subjects Excellent communication skills Ability to explain concepts in different ways when a student is struggling Patient, encouraging, dependable, and professional Comfortable working with middle and/or high school students Ability to reliably commute to our Puyallup learning center Teaching certification is preferred but not required. Schedule This is a part-time, in-person position. Most tutoring occurs during weekday afternoons/evenings and Saturdays. We especially value candidates who can commit consistently throughout the school year.
