Overview Join our dynamic youth sports program as a Youth Flag Football Referee and become a vital part of fostering teamwork, sportsmanship, and healthy activity among young athletes. In this energetic role, you will ensure fair play, enforce game rules, and create a fun, safe environment for children to develop their skills and love for the game. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help make every game an exciting and positive experience for players, coaches, and spectators alike. Duties Officiate youth flag football games by applying sports rules accurately and consistently to maintain fair play. Interpret game rules related to flag football, ensuring players adhere to safety protocols and sportsmanship standards. Manage player conduct during games, addressing conflicts promptly with effective communication skills. Ensure the safety of all participants by monitoring gameplay and responding swiftly to any injuries or emergencies. Communicate clearly with players, coaches, and spectators to promote a positive sporting environment. Skills Previous sports officiating or coaching experience, especially in flag football, soccer, basketball or baseball, but is not a requirement as we will train the new hire. Strong knowledge of sports rules interpretation and player management in sports officiating roles. Experience working with children in a sports or recreational setting, demonstrating patience and excellent communication skills.
