Department Field House Opening Date 03/24/2026 Closing Date 4/24/2026 5:00 PM Mountain Position Summary, Duties and Responsibilities Must have full knowledge and understanding of all rules/policies/procedures/codes of conduct for arena flag football leagues. Upon hire, this individual must become an expert on Apex PRD Arena Flag Football rules, and be able to pass a written test on these rules. Games are held on Saturdays from 10am - 9pm. Candidates must be skilled at game management, especially in intense game situations. Other duties include maintaining a safe and fun environment in which to play. Attending staff meetings and being available to cover a shift on short notice. Job Qualifications Must be at least 18 years of age. Must follow Apex Park and Recreation District policies and procedures and respond appropriately to all emergency situations. This person must be responsible, professional and a good communicator. Referees are responsible for providing their own uniform, flags, and game whistle. Education and Experience Must be skilled at game management, especially in intense game situations. Work Environment Work may take place in both indoor and outdoor environments, with exposure to varying weather conditions including sun, heat, cold, snow, and humidity. Physical Activity(s): Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday.
