Job Description
This is a seasonal position under the supervision of the Recreation Manager. This individual will be trained to officiate youth soccer games in the City of Holland on Saturday Mornings from Sept. 5 - Oct. 17. Training for this position will take place in August. 1. Arrive on time and dressed to officiate. 2. Learn the league rules. 3. Enforce the rules of the game in an educational way if need be. 4. Responsible for following safety rules, policies, regulations, and procedures. Completes accident reports and files them with the Recreation Division. Provide a safe and enjoyable atmosphere at all times. 5. Maintain a positive working relationship with other employees and the general public. Maintain a professional image. 6. Perform other duties as assigned. 1. Must have experience in athletics. 2. Ability to pass a background check. 3. Physical ability to occasionally lift/push/pull/transport equipment and materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
