Job Description

Develop, program, integrate, and debug automation controls for a final assembly manufacturing cell from development through installation and launch. Job Requirements Expert-level experience with Siemens PLC programming. Experience programming and commissioning Siemens servo systems. Experience developing HMI applications using Ignition. Experience with pneumatic motion control systems. Experience integrating automated manufacturing equipment. Experience programming and debugging final assembly cells. Ability to work onsite during programming, debugging, installation, and commissioning activities. Ability to travel for equipment installation and launch support. Preferred Skills Experience with Bosch pallet conveyor systems. Experience integrating Estic torque drivers. Experience interfacing automation equipment with Manufacturing Execution Systems. Experience developing MES transactions and production data interfaces. Experience with high-volume automotive or industrial assembly systems. Experience supporting equipment installation, commissioning, and production launch. Job Responsibilities Develop and program controls for automated final assembly equipment. Program and configure Siemens PLC and servo systems. Develop and configure Ignition HMI applications. Integrate pneumatic motion devices and automated equipment. Integrate Bosch pallet conveyor systems. Integrate Estic torque tooling with assembly equipment. Develop and support MES transactions between production equipment and manufacturing systems. Perform controls debugging and troubleshooting during equipment build. Support system integration, testing, and validation. Diagnose and resolve PLC, HMI, servo, pneumatic, conveyor, and equipment communication issues. Support onsite equipment installation and commissioning. Provide controls support during production launch and system ramp-up.
