Job Description
JR JAZZ BASKETBALL REF & TIMEKEEPER PAY RANGE/WORKING CONDITIONS
$10.93 + per hour DOE; Part time, non-seasonal and seasonal positions that have flexible schedules. FREE Premium Family Memberships, discounts and perks are included for all employees working at the Rec!QUALIFICATIONS
1. Must be at least 14 years old. 2. Good understanding of general basketball rules & gameplay preferred, but not required 3. Tact and good public relations skills.BASIC DUTIES
1. Set up and takedown of basketball equipment. 2. Check-in teams and coaches; help direct patrons to their scheduled courts 3. Set up and take down time clock. 4. Track time and scoring 5. Use buzzer to identify start & end times 6. Officiate games and facilitate gameplay. 7. Ability to call out penalties, down and distant, and communicate with coaches in general. 8. Enforce established safety rules and policies. 9. Handle accidents appropriately; apply necessary first aid and complete accident reports. 10. Assist on-site supervisors as assigned. 11. Assist in keeping playing areas clean and presentable.Benefits
