ICE SCOREKEEPER

Job Description

Salary $16.50-$21.50 per hour (D.O.E.)
JOB SUMMARY
Scorekeepers operate the game clock and are responsible for recording game information during Park City Hockey League games.
TYPICAL DUTIES
Operating the game clock including game times, penalties and scoring. Score sheet preparation and recording all game statistics. Prior to the start of the game, the scorekeeper reviews the team rosters with a team representative, the Captain, for jersey number accuracy and attendance. Scorekeeper ensures timeliness of the game and ensures only rostered players participate.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge and experience with the game of ice hockey.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Customer service experience. Experience scorekeeping.
WORKING CONDITIONS
The employee is frequently required to sit while monitoring games. The employee is required to communicate information and ideas clearly, both verbally and in writing. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus in order to monitor the game. Considerable exposure to stressful situations while working with community members. The noise level in the work environment varies from low to moderate. Occasional non-traditional working hours which may include evening, weekends, and holidays.
