- $132,834 Annually Add'l Salary Info Up to 10 years of service credit will be granted resulting in placement up to Step 11 Length of Work Year 186 days Employment Type Full Time Job Summary Job Summary The Poway Unified School District is looking for a credentialed Education Specialist for Mild/Moderate Support Needs to fill a vacant teaching position at Design 39 Campus.
CREDENTIALS REQUIRED
A valid California Education Specialist Instruction Credential- Mild/Moderate or other valid California teaching credential authorizing teaching in a mild/moderate assignment.
REQUIRED DOCUMENTS
All required documents MUST be scanned and attached prior to submitting an application for this position. Incomplete applications will not be considered. 1. Applicants must have an English Language Learners (CLAD credential) in order to be considered for the position. 2. Copy of valid teaching credential (mild/moderate or other valid California credential authorizing teaching in a mild/moderate assignment). 3. Copy of Transcript (Official transcripts are required upon hiring). 4. Current resume. 5. Letter of introduction, addressed to Kelly Burke, Ed.D., Executive Director, Human Resources. 6. Three (3) letters of reference, signed/dated within the past 12 months. Applicants are encouraged to include at least one (1) letter of reference from a supervising or site administrator. Applicants who have never held a full-time position, are encouraged to have a letter of reference from a site administrator where they completed their student teaching. 7. For phone references, be sure to include the reference's most current cell phone number and email address. 8.
