Job Description

Overview:
We are looking for a qualified Radiologic Technologist / Radiography professional to join an 18-month Radiography Education Program as a Lab Instructor - Radiology Education Trainer . This role focuses on hands-on, face-to-face laboratory instruction, helping students develop the practical skills and clinical competencies required for success in radiography.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide hands-on laboratory instruction to radiography students Demonstrate and supervise radiographic positioning, equipment operation, and image production Teach patient-care and radiation-safety principles Reinforce ALARA, shielding, collimation, infection control, and safe patient handling Evaluate student skills and provide constructive feedback Facilitate small-group laboratory sessions of approximately 6 students Supervise energized and non-energized laboratory practice Maintain a safe, organized, and equitable learning environment Align laboratory activities with course content and program learning outcomes Follow applicable JRCERT Standards , including the 1:1 student-to-equipment ratio
Requirements:
Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field, or equivalent education/training Current, unrestricted ARRT certification and registration in Radiography (ARRT(R)) Current California Radiologic Technologist (CRT) license Current BLS/CPR certification for healthcare providers Strong clinical knowledge of radiography and patient care Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to provide hands-on instruction and evaluate student competencies Laboratory or clinical education experience is preferred

Monday:
9:00 AM-12:00 PM and 5:30 PM-8:30
PM Tuesday:
6:30 PM-9:30
PM Wednesday:
9:00 AM-12:00 PM and 5:30 PM-8:30
PM Thursday:
6:30 PM-9:30 PM No weekend classes listed Small-group instruction with approximately 6 students per session
