After School Cooking Instructor Arts for Schools Inc. - 1.0 New Haven, CT Job Details Temporary | Contract $30 - $40 an hour 11 hours ago Qualifications Pre-cooking preparation ServSafe Working with students Food preparation Food Handler Certification Full Job Description After-School Cooking Instructor Arts4Schools , a 501(c)(3) nonprofit arts organization, is seeking an After-School Cooking Instructor to teach children ages 7 to 12 at a school in New Haven, CT . This is a very part-time contract position on Tuesdays from 4:30 PM to 5:30 PM . We are looking for someone who enjoys working with children and can teach fun, hands-on cooking lessons focused on: Healthy meals and snacks Basic cooking and food preparation skills Kitchen safety Following recipes and measuring ingredients Creativity and food presentation Helping children explore new foods and flavors Applicants should have cooking, culinary, nutrition, baking, or food-service experience.
