SUPERVISOR

Athletic Director/Assistant Principal and Principal

JOB SUMMARY

Under the general direction of the Athletic Director/Assistant Principal, plan and provide appropriate learning experiences for students in the program; develop, select, and modify instructional plans and materials to meet the needs of all students; ensure that all safety precautions are taken to protect students, equipment, materials, and facilities. Monitor appropriate use and care of equipment, materials, and facilities. Maintain appropriate records and follow required procedures and practices.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily: Coordinates student activities, including: Registration, Assignment to behind-the-wheel instruction and Validation and distribution of course completion certificates.

Coordinates assignments for behind-the-wheel instructors/drivers, including the assignment of driving time/students.

Cooperatively checks equipment for safety and maintenance.

Assists the Coordinator of Special Programs in short

•and long-term planning for Driver's Education Program.

Collaborate with the Driver's Education Coordinator and colleagues regarding student assignments.

Supervises students at all times during behind-the-wheel training.

Maintain accurate driving records

Other duties as assigned

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT

This is a non-exempt position.

Salary is based on an hourly rate determined through the Urbana School District #116.

EVALUATION

Performance of this job will be evaluated by the current supervisor, Athletic Director/Assistant Principal.
