Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
Active Louisiana Department of Education teaching certificate (
Required:
no TATmust be fully licensed and ready to begin) Previous experience as a general education teacher in an elementary setting is desirable Ability to adapt to varying caseloads and school assignments as needed Strong classroom management and communication skills Ability to successfully complete all background checks, including a district-specific drug screen and fingerprints
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality instruction to elementary students across multiple subjects Foster an inclusive, positive, and safe classroom culture Create and implement lesson plans aligned with state academic standards Monitor student progress and communicate with families as needed Participate in faculty meetings, trainings, and professional development sessions Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to maximize student achievement
