This full-time, contract opportunity runs from ASAP through late May 2027, offering a dynamic setting where youll engage students and help shape their academic success. Youll work 35 hours per week, following a standard school schedule of Monday through Friday, with a lunch break included. Ideal candidates possess a genuine passion for helping high schoolers develop math proficiency. Youll be assigned to one or more schools within the district (specific assignments and caseload to be determined), working collaboratively with administrators and fellow educators to cultivate a positive learning environment.

Qualifications:

Must hold an active Louisiana Department of Education certification (no temporary licenses considered) Proven classroom experience in high school math instruction preferred Ready to meet credentialing requirements, including district-required drug screen and fingerprinting Comfortable adapting to various assigned schools and caseloads as needed Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
