Drivers Education Instructor Winchester Auto School Springfield, MA Job Details Part-time $21.00 - $24.50 an hour 2 hours ago Qualifications Spanish High school diploma or GED Driver's License Driving Lesson planning Full Job Description We have an immediate need for a Part Time Driver Training Instructor preferably SPANISH speaking who will teach behind the wheel driver training as well, as classroom instruction. Must be able to work Monday through Saturday with open flexibility.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
: Teaches behind the wheel driver training to novice or beginning drivers, of all ages. Must conduct the lessons in an efficient and timely manner. Provides courteous, efficient and helpful service. Conducts each lesson with all concern for
DRIVING SAFELY.
Communicates to the student, parent and/or guardian, appropriate information to create an understanding, along with recommendations for future driving practices. Deliver structured classroom instruction on traffic laws, road signs, and defensive driving techniques Follow and implement state-approved driver education curriculum Develop lesson plans, presentations, and instructional materials Assess student progress through quizzes, tests, and participation Maintain accurate records of attendance and student performance Create a positive, respectful, and engaging learning environment Educate students on safe driving behaviors, including the dangers of distracted and impaired driving Stay current with state regulations, laws, and driver education best practices Communicate effectively with students, parents, and administrative staff Prepare students for written permit and driver's license examinations
QUALIFICATIONS
: 21+ years old with a Valid Driver's License Spanish (preferred) Must pass background checks Traffic Safety, Law Enforcement, or Teaching background is preferred
EDUCATION
: High school diploma is required
Compensation :
(based on experience) The individual hired will need to obtain the Instructors Certification. It is a 65 Hr program. We have an in house training for the Certification. Must be willing to work Monday- Friday, and some weekends. Please email a cover letter and resume for interview.
