Job Description
- Teach participants meal planning, grocery shopping, recipe reading, knife skills, food safety, and kitchen organization.
- Create a positive and encouraging learning environment.
- A mobile role with movement around Wayne County but with a M-F schedule What You Will Do
- Teach food safety, nutrition, allergen awareness, and cooking techniques.
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness and food quality standards.
- Assist with purchasing ingredients and managing supplies.
- Collaborate with participants and staff on menus and lessons.
- Participate in community outings, gardening activities, catering events, and more! Qualifications
- 2-5 years of experience in food service, hospitality, or culinary arts.
- Valid or previously held ServSafe Food Handler Certification.
- ServSafe Manager Certification or ability to obtain.
- Valid Michigan Driver License.
- Ability to pass background check and meet insurance requirements.

Pay:
From $18.50 per hour Expected hours: No more than 30.0 per weekBenefits:
